The Wood Walker 

The Wood Walker is a Hoot Jigs exclusive jig, I have spent the last year designing a jig that I felt would crawl or walk through the limbs of laydowns. I felt the first step to this was finding the right angle for the weed guard to sit at, with the weed guard fully covering the point of the hook so that if and when the jig rolls to the side it will not snag on the limbs of the trees. With this starting point  I finally settled on this head design. The wood walker is not only great around wood but it also excels when flipped and pitched around weed lines and pad edges. Build with a stout 3/0 or 4/0 Mustad hook, and an amazing hand tied skirt in just about any color you can think of I have done my best to make sure the wood walker will not disappoint!
